The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the organization’s information systems’ databases. The DBA provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IICRC’s database management systems that support institutional business and clinical applications.
Responsibilities include reporting, data input and output, technology management, and end-user training and support. The DBA will work with the company’s technology, using special types of software to store and organize IICRC data. The DBR will ensure the data is available to users and that it’s kept secure from unauthorized access or accidental loss or corruption. The DBA will serve as a liaison to Information Technology (IT) Consultants on IT related issues.
